“Drona Academy of Sports and Skills” is an non-profit organisation that focuses on finding out the children who have the calibre to become the sportsperson and to facilitate them with necessary equipment and adequate training.

• “Mission Sahasra” is our ambitious project started in the academic year of 2022-23. This is our First Mission.

• The Mission’s objective is to provide “Chess Kits” to the students studying in the Government Schools of our State (Tamilnadu).

• “Sahasra” Means a Thousand. the mission is to provide Thousands of Thousand Chess Kits, that is about Ten Lakhs Chess kits. (in other words, a Million Chess Kits)

• Funds for the project is obtained thru Corporates and kind hearted humanitarians, the Chess kits are “Gifted” to the Students, which means it is free of cost to them.
